Responsibilities of Technician & Neurofeedback Training Support with the Biocybernaut Institute include but are not limited to the following:

• The position involves daily set-up of the technology, bringing up computers and the software, doing calibrations, monitoring banks of printers for the data, organizing results.
• You will be in charge of biofeedback/neurofeedback equipment as well as ensuring that adequate supplies are present.
• Assisting in creating a supportive environment, engaging with clients (ranging from children to adults), documenting process, and communicating with senior staff.
• Maintain exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high level of confidence.
• Creative thinking and ability to resolve critical problems.
• Good organizational skills, management skills, and ability to maintain a positive attitude in sometimes awkward situations.
• Ability to multitask and handle conflicts in the business.
• Actively involved in the developmental plans of the company, and be devoted to work and adherence to deadlines.
• Target-oriented and belief in teamwork.
• Should possess the ability to work individually in certain situations.
• Provide support for team members when identified or called upon to do so – manage time accordingly.
• Own transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to apply for, receive and maintain a positive criminal record check upon hiring.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport as a condition of employment.
• Must be able to establish rapport with patients while keeping task-oriented.
• Verifies regularly that EEG equipment and caps are cleaned and functioning properly.
• Tracks supplies necessary for delivering neurofeedback therapy (e.g., electrode gel, etc.).
• Complete all paperwork and documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Engage in efforts to maintain Biocybernaut Institute’s facility at a high level of cleanliness.
• Maintains client and Institute confidentiality – this is imperative.
• Ability and awareness of working in cross-cultural environments, and being willing to learn about such in support of the Institute’s vision.
• Must be open and willing to participate in ongoing training in support of personal development and professional skills.
• Must be able to sit for an extended period of time.
• Must be available to work in 7 day periods for up to 10 to 14 hours per day.
• Must be able to stand for 15 minutes to position the EEG cap on the patient’s head.
• Quick motor skills to attach sensors and caps in a timely manner and catch on quickly to “hands-on” types of procedures.
• Monitor and support trainees when in the training.
• Support trainees and Trainers through some meal preparation, organization, and general cleaning.
• Must be willing to participate in other duties when called upon.
