Free Will and the Biocybernaut Technology for Training Subtle Brain Energies
As we learn to detect ever more subtle process of the brain, and as we learn to make these detected processes more perceptible to the mind, we will grow in knowledge of how we function and how we malfunction and how to attain to and then sustain Hyperfunctions.
The Ultimate Peak Performance: Alpha Feedback Training For Us Army Green Berets
Two teams of 12 Green Berets underwent 7 days of intensive alpha brainwave training. Post-training assessments showed significant reductions in depression, anxiety, fatigue, confusion, anger, sleepiness, and dizziness. Increased alpha activity was linked to lower levels of paranoia, defensiveness, and mania, and higher levels of intuition, self-regard, spontaneity, and inner-directedness.
Beneficial Changes To Personality As A Result Of 7-Day Alpha One Brain Wave Training
Creativity Increases In Scientists Through Alpha EEG Feedback Training
A group of Stanford Research Institute scientists was tested on various measures before and after alpha brain wave training. The scientists in the experimental condition who were given alpha brain wave training experienced statistically significant increases in a standard measure of creativity. The scientists also experienced a statistically significant decrease in subjective stress and physiological stress.
Anxiety Change Through Electroencephalographic Alpha feedback seen only in High Anxiety Subjects
Subjects with high and low trait anxiety learned to both increase and decrease their alpha brainwave activity using neurofeedback. In high-anxiety individuals, alpha increases led to reduced anxiety, while alpha suppression increased anxiety. Low-anxiety subjects were better at controlling alpha, but their changes did not affect anxiety. These findings suggest that extended alpha training (5+ hours) may be effective for anxiety treatment.
Alpha EEG Feedback: Closer Parallel with Zen than with Yoga
After 7 days of Alpha Brain Wave Training, participants displayed brainwave patterns previously observed only in Zen meditators with 21–40 years of experience. When compared to both Zen and Yogic meditation, neurofeedback training aligned more closely with Zen, indicating its powerful ability to accelerate meditative states and cognitive development.
Biocybernaut Alpha Training For ADD/ADHD Children and Adults
While most practitioners treat ADD using Beta EEG protocols, intensive Alpha EEG training is rarely explored. However, Siegfried Othmer reported that ADD children showed behavioral improvements from long-term Beta training—even without measurable changes in their Beta brainwaves. Similarly, Julian Isaacs noted that neurofeedback may stabilize behavior regardless of changes in specific EEG parameters, suggesting the method’s broader regulatory benefits.
Your Wealth And Your Brainwaves
At Biocybernaut Institute, we teach a core truth called the Psychophysiological Principle: Every experience you have depends on your brain waves.
That means your brain waves shape everything — your emotions, your thoughts, your senses, and even your performance.
They influence how creative you are, how confident (or doubtful) you feel, how motivated you are, and how deeply you can connect with your intuition.
In short: if you want to change your life, start with your brain waves.
Social and Economic Impact on Community
In a recent pilot study, 63 Canadian Indigenous men and women participated in neurofeedback training designed to help them observe and influence their brain activity in real time.
This training acts like a mirror for the brain—using EEG signals to provide instant feedback on brainwave patterns. Most people aren’t aware of these subtle brain fluctuations, but with training, they can learn to increase their alpha brain waves, which has been shown to reduce anxiety.
Case Studies
Case Histories From Intensive Trainings In Alpha And Beta Feedback
Six different trainings reveal the wide range of effectiveness of the Biocybernaut Institute Neurofeedback training programs. All trainings involved simultaneous integrated amplitude feedback on 4 different cortical sites [O1, O2, C3, C4], and were conducted using individual or group EEG feedback systems from Biocybernaut Institute. Four trainings were Individual trainings and two were Group trainings.
Both Situational and Chronic Anxiety Are Reduced by Learned Increases in Alpha Brain Wave Activity
Two studies tested whether low-anxiety individuals could more easily learn to increase their alpha brain waves using neurofeedback. The research took place at Carnegie Mellon University and UCSF’s Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute, with over 100 college-aged males screened for anxiety levels using the MMPI. Participants completed two pre-tests and one post-test to track both personality changes and brainwave shifts throughout the training
Depression and Bereavement in An Elderly Widow
Panic Attacks, Stress, And Anxiety
A 29-year-old woman came to Biocybernaut seeking relief from recurring panic attacks after traditional treatments—including medical doctors, therapists, and hypnotists—had failed to help.
She described a happy, stable life: a peaceful childhood, a loving marriage, and two children. With no prior emotional issues, her panic attacks began suddenly and inexplicably, turning her once-normal life into a nightmare. She turned to alpha brainwave training as a last resort—and a potential path to reclaiming her peace of mind.
Paranoia, Hostility, Schizophrenia, Unemployable
A 30-year-old man entered the program with severe paranoia and signs of schizophrenia, making it nearly impossible for him to hold a job or maintain stable relationships.
At the time of enrollment, he had just been in a physical altercation with a stranger at a bus stop—leaving him bruised and requiring 20 stitches above his eye. His intense hostility and distrust created a challenging training environment, even for staff. Yet, despite initial resistance and emotional volatility, he began the Alpha brainwave training program—a step that would mark the beginning of his transformation.

Predictive Dual Process Theory for Alpha Enhancement
Inspired by Kamiya’s 1976 call for theoretical frameworks in biofeedback, this theory of alpha brainwave enhancement aims to explain the mechanisms behind successful and unsuccessful neurofeedback training. It has three main components:
A. It explains past findings in the alpha feedback literature.
B. It identifies key factors that influence whether training is successful, and offers testable strategies for improving outcomes across different environments.
C. It predicts how alpha enhancement can be used clinically, including:
1. Varying effectiveness across clinical groups
2. The need for different approaches based on whether a subject is under- or over-aroused
Explorations in Awareness: Respiration & Relaxation
To better understand the psychological and physiological significance of alpha feedback training, we examined its relationship to other systems—specifically muscle activity (EMG) and breathing. Alpha activity, when enhanced through feedback, is highly sensitive to the structure of thought itself. This makes it a powerful tool for exploring how thoughts form and flow—a new frontier in the study of consciousness.
Alpha training offers both subjective insight and objective measurement, revealing how muscle tension, respiration, and brainwaves interact. By observing these patterns, participants and researchers alike gain a clearer understanding of how the body and mind work together. Formal analysis supports what many trainees intuitively discover during sessions: feedback-induced alpha enhancement opens new pathways for both cognitive science and psychophysiology.
What Does 4 Channel Alpha Feedback Do to Whole Head (8 Channel) Alpha Activity?
Eight-channel EEGs (O1, O2, C3, C4, T3, T4, F3, F4) were recorded, filtered, and digitized for 17 right-handed non-meditators who received broadband alpha feedback simultaneously on 4 channels (O1, O2, C3, C4). Alpha feedback was both 4 auditory tones, and 4 periodically presented digital integrated amplitude alpha scores. Auditory feedback on each of the 4 feedback channels was presented through 4 spatially separated speakers. It employed separate pitches for the tones, which signaled activity at each of the 4 cortical feedback sites. Auditory feedback was driven by the envelope of the filtered and full-wave rectified broadband alpha activity. Auditory feedback was presented to Ss sitting upright, eyes closed, in a totally dark, climate-controlled, soundproof (Industrial Acoustics Corp.) chamber. Auditory feedback was continuous, except for an 8-second interruption every 2 minutes. During which 8-second interruption, all the feedback tones shifted to resting pitches, which signaled the S to open his/her eyes to view the digital scores, which were illuminated only during these 8 seconds.
